Gas Grill Reviews

Best Gas Grills:

Many of us love the summer months when we can get outdoors and use our backyard space to its fullest potential. Owning a BBQ is an American tradition and today most barbeques sold are either run on natural gas or propane. Yes, there are still basic charcoal grills, but we will focus our attention to the best gas grills for the money. A gas grill should have features like electronic igniters, stainless steel or cast iron cooking grates, plenty of cooking area, room for storage (think accessories), side burner, and be able to cook your meat/veggies/fish evenly. Our research led us to the most recent gas grill comparison by Consumer Reports and the findings done by Good Housekeeping and About.com. We were able to find all the features that matter most to consumers and match those up with gas grills that actually perform the best. Top rated brands include #1 selling Weber, Char-Broil, Vermont Castings, Kenmore, Master Forge, Broil King, and Blue Ember. You can find most gas grills in stores like Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, Sears, and online at Amazon.com. So which grills rated the highest? It all depends on what you need it for. Are you going to be using it for tailgaiting? Perhaps you want to do lots of entertaining this summer and need a large capacity grill to feed the neighborhood. One key factor that we looked into with most grills is their durability and overall longevity. Many grills don't last many seasons because parts fail, they rust, the cooking grates are less than adequate, etc. We tried to include in our review those gas grills that not only pass performance tests today but continue to perform at the highest level years later. No sense in spending $1000 on a quality gas grill only to have it fail in a few years time. View the best selling gas grills here.

Best Grill:
#1 : Weber Summit 7320001 S-620 Gas Grill - Expensive but worth the extra money. Available for liquid propane or natural gas. You get 693 square inches of primary cooking space along with stainless steel cooking grates and flavorized bars. The front mounted controls allow for easy access to the 6 stainless steel burners and ignition system. There is a built in thermometer so you always know what temperature you are cooking at. The enclosed cart is perfect for storing BBQ tools and accessory items (grill brush, tongs, etc.). The Weber Summit E-670 rated higher per Consumer Reports, but for an extra $600 we are not sure it's worth it. The S-620 is a real gem and owners find that they end up using it beyond summer months and grilling as much as possible during the rest of the year. Assembly is straight forward and performance couldn't be better. No flare-ups, cooks chicken evenly, and can handle large amounts of food for those large, backyard parties.

It preheats quickly and offers up superior even cooking compared to the other models in this class. It's considered the best mid sized grill on the market.
